| I've been emailed and ask by a lot of people who we are and what we do. Hopefully, this can explain it pretty well. The Denver Pick Up Artists Lair is comprised of men who are dedicated to mastering the art of communication. When I meet new people and talk to newspapers and whatnot, I usually get looked at with suprise when they see me. I guess the average person coming to this website thinks that we all probably look strange, dress like freaks and act socially awkward. Contrary to popular belief, we aren't a bunch of nerds who WANT to be good with women. We are normal guys who ARE good with women.
We are men who decided, one day, that we wanted to get this area of our life handled. We research, study and use social techniques and behavior patterns to create attraction with women and build our social circles. In reality, you, whoever you are reading this, are probably a lot more socially awkward than we are. And if you ever meet one of us, this will probably be completely obvious. We also aren't guys who are just out looking to seduce or use women that we meet. One of the main focuses of developing yourself as a pick up artist is to develop your character and integrity. We want to create fulfillment. Not only in our lives but in the lives of the women that we meet and date. There is a lot that men and women can give to each other. Guys who "just want to get laid" don't stay in our community very long and we aren't looking for that type of person to be in our lair. What we are looking for are people who are dedicated and willing to do whatever it takes to get this area of their lives completely handled and developing themselves into superior men who have unshakable character. We are looking for men who are willing to put time in to developing themselves. We are looking for people who are open minded and will try things that seem to be, for the most part, outside of their comfort zone and counter-intuitive. It doesn't matter what level you are currently at with picking up women. If you are willing to put the time and effort into this, you will develop yourself to an outstanding pickup artist. The Pickup Arts are a learned skill. I believe that every man and woman is born with the natural ability to attract the opposite sex. I also believe that our society programs us from birth to act in a way that destroys attraction instead of creating it. No matter what your mom might suggest to you, buying a girl flowers all the time and telling her your feelings is as likely to create attraction as a fat person eating jelly donuts for a diet is likely to make them skinny. The fact is, men need a new direction in meeting and dating women that will give them the power in the relationship. And, we give it to them.
